What is Resilience? The dictionary defines Resilience as:
The capacity to recover quickly from difficulties; Toughness
The ability of a substance or object to spring back into shape; Elasticity
Both definitions are applicable to the Resilient life. The capacity to recover quickly from difficulties is the very heart of resilience or anti-fragility. Establishing some general risk management plans goes a long way to helping us bounce back in the face of a challenge. Preparedness aids in making us Tough in times of uncertain outcomes. Even when life has us stretched to our limits we can have the elasticity not to break under pressure when we develop the core aspects of Resilience.
We believe that resilience has 7 core aspects:
- Spiritual
- Financial
- Physical
- Food
- Water
- Power
- Community
